The setting hibernation can record on the hard disk prior session. The advantage is that you can completely turn off the computer and resume your work later, without going through the standby mode that requires a permanent supply of electricity.

We will see how to activate or deactivate the setting hibernation, the latter tend to disappear over time for a pause hybrid, combining the two systems Watchkeeping (classical and prolonged).

By experience, it happened to me several times that he could not activate the setting hibernation, it had disappeared from feeding options. As a result, there is a small tip to restore it very simply.

To do this, run a Command Prompt as administrator (right-click and then Run as administrator) by typing cmd in the start menu of Vista.

Then, enter powercfg-h on to or revive powercfg-h off to turn it off.

It may, indeed, be interesting to delete insofar as this feature is an equivalent to the size of your RAM (1 GB of RAM to 1 GB of disk space occupied) in a file called hyberfil.sys .

This file can also be cleaned using the Disk Cleanup of Windows.

To see the restoration of this feature, open the Start menu and then check the choice of closure.
