Enable plug-in Windows Live Messenger

Probably available in the version 9 of Windows Live Messenger, plug-ins or add-ons nonetheless activated with a simple change in the register.

In the Start menu, type regedit.exe then press Enter.

Search the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ MSNMessenger

Create a new DWORD value (32-bit Windows Vista) entitled AddInFeatureEnabled and set its value to 1.

Close the Registry Editor, restart Live Messenger and open the Tools menu, then Options. A new tab Additions made its appearance.
