To achieve this operation, Picasa and then open the Tools menu.

There, click Options and then go to the tab Slideshow.

We can only check Play MP3 tracks during the show. It is a shame here he could read other formats such as WMA or OGG.

Finally, select the folder containing the tracks to read. To do this, click the Browse button and set your location combining different MP3 (a selection or an entire album for example).

Validate by double-clicking OK.
